Leveraging over ten years of research experience in tooth and bone mineralization and repair from its parent company (USBiomaterials Corp.), NovaMin Technology Inc. (NTI) is now aggressively commercializing its groundbreaking technology, NovaMin, a powerful discovery that offers consumers whiter, less sensitive teeth while protecting them from tooth decay.

Inventor David Greenspan, Ph.D has over 30 years of biomaterials experience, holds 27 patents and has authored over 50 publications; Dr. Greenspan has held executive positions at two successful technology start-ups, Howmedica/ Pfizer and the Arthritis Institute of the National Hospital. He is NovaMin's VP, Chief Technology Officer.

With Randy Scott's extensive background in marketing and corporate strategy, including brand management at Proctor & Gamble Co. and LensCrafters, as well as serving as VP of Marketing at Nine West Group, he was the natural choice as CEO for this fast-pace, marketdriven company.

After introductions from UF's Office of Technology Licensing to a number of potential investors, NovaMin closed its first institutional financing round in April 2005 with a $4.4 million investment led by Durham, North Carolina-based venture capital firm Intersouth Partners.
